Samantha Aldrich, DVM

Dr. Aldrich is a native New Englander, having been raised in Massachusetts. She completed her undergraduate degree in Biological Sciences at the University of Connecticut in 2014. Dr. Aldrich obtained her veterinary degree from Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine at Tufts University in 2021. Following graduation, she completed a year long, small animal medicine and surgery internship at VCA South Shore Animal Hospital. Last year, Dr. Adrich relocated to Southeastern Alabama in support of her husband’s military career. Here, she worked as a civilian veterinarian at Fort Novosel providing care for on-post families’ and local veteran’s pets.

Dr. Aldrich recently returned to New England and is very happy to be joining the Portsmouth Veterinary Team. Her special interests include dermatology, behavior and internal medicine cases. When not in the clinic, Dr. Aldrich enjoys traveling, exploring outdoors, and spending time with her husband and goofy pets.
